These masks are recommended for those who work with the infected or are the patient. When purchasing a surgical mask, it is important to make sure it complies with your hospital standards.
Face Shields
Also falling into the single-use category are face shields. These shields are great option if communicating efficiently is a priority. While many users of surgical masks pull off their masks to talk, this is less likely with a face shield.
Cloth Masks
Generally recommended for people without symptoms, cloth masks are your reusable and washable mask option. They are perfect for a user who is already practicing safe social distancing.
