In 2007, we wanted to find a way to give back to our local community. At the time, large printers were prevalent, and our customers were asking if we recycled toner cartridges. Shortly after, the Recycle for a Reason program was born.
How Recycle for a Reason Works
Our Recycle for a Reason program works through donations. To make the program viable, our customers are allowed to give their donations to their Nice Guys Driver whenever an office supply order is delivered. If the local community wishes to donate, they may also drop off their donations in our working hours of 9-5 PM, M-F at our Niles facility.
What We Accept for Recycling
Unfortunately, not everything can be recycled. We keep an updated list of everything you can recycle on our Recycling Program webpage. You can also opt to watch a video on the program via GTV.
The Best Way to Transport Your Recycling
We asked that any donations made be prepped before pickup is made. Prepping your donations includes: Flattening all cardboard, double checking to ensure toner cartridges are empty and using boxes to transport any loose items you may have for donation. A great way to upcycle is by keeping the boxes that your office supply orders come in for recycling!
