As the holiday season approaches, we have once again made the decision that our Recycle for a Reason’s 4th quarter recipient should be the Greater Chicago Food Depository. While hunger is a year-round issue, we especially need to donate during the holidays. Here are some ways you can make this year’s collections of used toners, flattened cardboard and old electronics the best one yet!
Start a Holiday Competition
Nothing is better in the office then competition geared towards a charitable cause. Start a competition between departments to see who can collect and donate the most items. Reward winning employees with a pizza party.
Start a Cardboard Collection
Shipping doubles during the holidays, and most of that cardboard ends up in the trash. Hang flyers throughout your office, encouraging employees to bring in any cardboard boxes they have from ordering holiday gifts. Schedule a pickup of these items with our Nice Guys Drivers.
