Coming Soon: Upgrade To GetGarveys.com
 Sometime during June, the latest version of GetGarveys.com will be unveiled. The updated version will feature enhanced speed while accessing favorites lists, the ability for administrators to add and delete users, and the ability for orders to assign multiple cost centers to the same order.
Visually, the site will look slightly different. The “My Account” feature on the current site will become a button with a drop down menu. This will create space for additional promotions. All of your “Favorites Lists” and saved orders will remain intact.
We will offer webinars for anyone interested in a demo of the new site. Please watch your inbox for your invitation.

Electronic Recycling Off To A Great Start!
 On January 1st, we kicked off our newest recycling service- recycling old computers and electronics equipment. Now, we will pick-up and recycle any electronic device that is smaller than a council copier. This includes monitors, CPU’s, shredders, keyboards, and even cell phones! As is the case with all of our Recycling Services, it is Free of charge to all active Garvey’s Office Products customers!
In the first three months of the program, we collected and recycled three full truckloads of electronic material. One customer told us they were quoted $1,200 to hire a service to recycle their old equipment! Thanks for making this new initiative such a great success.
To utilize any of our recycling services, you can simply ask customer service at (847) 588-1690, email us at sales@getgarveys.com, contact your sales rep., or just make a note on your next web order if you have items you need picked up.
Watch for Summer Fun Promotions!
 Last summer, we kicked off nine weeks of summer promotions called ‘Summer Fun’. It was such a huge hit that we decided to bring it back again this year. Every week and a half, we will have drawings to giveaway tickets to some of the best attractions in the city. We had such a long winter- that it is time to start enjoying some 'Summer Fun'. Watch your email box for further details.
WANTED: Suggestions For Our 2011 Consumer Product Show
 As many of you know, we will host our Consumer Product Show on Thursday, October 6th. The show this year will be called ‘Time To Shop’. Since many of you have been to our previous shows, we are interested in getting suggestions on improving the show. We want to make this our best show ever, but we need your help.
What vendors do you want to see this year? What products do you buy from other vendors that you would like us to carry or feature at the show? What products do you want to see more of this year? Do you have any suggestions on Buses we run on the day of the show? If you haven't attended a show in the past, feel free to give us your thoughts on what you hope to get out of attending the show.
 We will have a drawing from all email replies received for a $25.00 Visa Gift Card. Winner will be drawn on May 31, 2011. Winner will be announced in the next newsletter.

Recycle For A Reason: DuSable Museum Receives 1st Quarter Donation
 On April 19th, I had the pleasure of presenting a check for $3,119.30 to Dr. Carol Adams, President & CEO at DuSable Museum of African American History.  Thanks to all of your participation with our toner cartridge recycling program. We now have donated over $50,000 to local charities in the past three years!
